2024 Regulatory Reporting Horizon: what to expect and how to prepare

Struan Lloyd is Head of Cappitech that provides a global solution for cross-asset, multi-jurisdictional trade reporting. His responsibilities span sales, strategy, business development and client relations globally. Mr Lloyd joined IHS Markit (now S&P Global) in 2019 from CME Group, where he was the Head of the APAC Trade Repository in Singapore. Before CME, Mr Lloyd was at DTCC in Singapore where he was APAC Head of Trade Repository sales and relationship management.

Meg Francis is the Customer Experience Officer (CXO) for Equities Data and Analytics and Cappitech divisions and has over 13 years of experience in the financial technology industry. Ms. Francis has served in several roles within the Equities division including director of operations, business manager and global head of client services. Prior to joining S&P Global Market Intelligence, she worked at Inspired Gaming Group as the global head of service delivery. Ms. Francis holds a degree from Cambridge University.

Ron is an Executive Director who specializes in Regulatory and Technology subjects of EMIR, MIFIR, MAS OTC reporting, SFTR, and ASIC derivative reporting. Prior to IHS Markit, Ron was the head of business development and regulatory SME at Cappitech (acquired by IHS Markit, January 2021). Ron is an ongoing contributor to regulatory focused content the Global Regulatory Reporting Solutions team publishes and presents and leverages his over 20 years’ experience in the financial industry. He was also awarded the Editor’s Recognition Award for Best RegTech Vendor Professional in the RegTech Insight Europe Awards 2021.

Yuting serves as a Business Development Executive for S&P Global Market Intelligence Cappitech. She is responsible for leading the expansion of the regulatory reporting capabilities in APAC. Previously, she worked in product management at MarkitSERV supporting customers in post-trade services and the compliance of G20 regulatory reporting.

Igor Kaplun serves as Global Head of Regulatory Reporting Business Development, S&P Global Market Intelligence Cappitech and is responsible for leading the expansion of the regulatory reporting capabilities globally. Mr. Kaplun has deep expertise in OTC derivatives, G20 regulatory reporting and post trade services. Prior to joining S&P Global Market Intelligence, Mr. Kaplun spent 11 years at CME Group, most recently as Head of the North America Trade Repository business. Earlier in his career Mr. Kaplun worked in market data, trade operations and support, product marketing and sales. Mr. Kaplun holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Master’s in International Business from the University of Florida

Fabien Romero has an extensive international experience in Securities Finance. Mr Romero spent ten years at Commerzbank AG London in Securities Finance trading prior to joining the firm in August 2017. He previously worked in Paris and Tokyo for various Securities Finance firms.
