Cappitech selected as a heavy hitter in transforming the regulatory technology sector

As we prepare for 2023 and the regulatory reporting changes we are looking ahead to, we are thrilled to see that our technology, approach and client-centric focus continues to pay dividends with today’s announcement that we have been included in the highly prestigious RegTech100 List for 2023. The RegTech100 list is compiled annually and identifies “the companies every financial institution needs to know about as they consider and develop their mission critical RegTech and digital transformation strategies.”

Our inclusion is a further demonstration of the continuing and growing importance of efficient, effective, global regulatory reporting solutions and a new maturity in the way the market perceives regulatory reporting.

In our most recent Global Regulatory Reporting Survey, we highlighted that 99% of respondents already have reporting obligations in at least 2 jurisdictions, making regulatory reporting compliance a larger and more significant part of their operational processes. And with hybrid reporting solutions – a mix of in-house and vendor – continuing to be more popular (64% of our respondents are doing this, of which 68% are Tier 1 firms), there is no doubt that regulatory reporting is a key element in financial institutions’ financial technology requirements.

With the EMIR REFIT due to go live in 2024 and significant changes coming to regimes such as CFTC, JFSA, ASIC, MAS, we will continue to work with our clients to ensure their readiness.
